FIRST SECURITY Co., Ltd. (the ‘Company’) complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and related legislation. This policy explains how we handle personal information. This is a courtesy translation; in the event of any discrepancy, the Korean version prevails.
1. Information We Collect and How
We collect the following when you use this website. We do not operate a membership registration process.

You may use an alias instead of your real name, and you may post an enquiry without leaving contact details — though we may then be unable to reply.
2. Purposes of Processing
- Responding to enquiries — receiving and answering questions about protection and security services
- Operating the boards — identifying authors, verifying access rights to private posts
- Service improvement and statistics — analysing visit statistics and usage patterns
- Preventing misuse — blocking spam and responding to abnormal access
We do not use personal information for purposes beyond those stated above. Should the purpose change, we will obtain consent in advance.
3. Retention Periods

Where retention is required by law, we keep the information for the period prescribed. Access logs are retained for three months under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act.

We do not use personal information beyond the scope stated in Article 1, nor do we provide it to third parties, except where:
- the data subject has given prior consent; or
- a law so provides, or an investigative authority requests it following the procedures prescribed by law.

Requirements for the safe handling of personal information are set out in writing in the outsourcing contract. Any change of contractor will be disclosed through this policy.
6. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them
You may exercise the following rights at any time:
- request access to your personal information
- request correction of any errors
- request deletion
- request suspension of processing
Requests may be made by telephone (1544-4425), e-mail (15444425@hanmail.net) or in writing, and we will act without delay. Posts and comments you wrote may be deleted by you, or you may ask us to delete them.
Where a representative acts on your behalf, please submit a letter of authority.
7. Destruction of Personal Information
We destroy personal information without delay once the retention period has passed or the purpose of processing has been achieved.
- Procedure — after the purpose is achieved, information is stored for a set period under internal policy and applicable law, then destroyed.
- Method — electronic files are permanently deleted by irrecoverable means; paper documents are shredded or incinerated.
8. Security Measures
- Access control — the number of staff handling personal information is kept to a minimum, with differentiated permissions.
- Password encryption — passwords for private posts and administrator accounts are stored in a form that cannot be decrypted.
- Encryption in transit — HTTPS is applied across the whole site.
- Access management — abnormal access is blocked, access logs are retained, and automated-submission prevention is in place.
9. Cookies
We use cookies to maintain sessions and compile visit statistics. A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser; it contains no personally identifying information.
You may refuse cookies in your browser settings. Some functions, such as the message boards, may then be limited.

12. Changes to This Policy
Where this policy is added to, amended or deleted, we will give notice on the website at least seven days before the change takes effect.
